Obscure: Curtain of Fire

Obscuro was a collaborative artistic project for a medium-length film, scripted and directed by Mattew Magrath, Cinemagrath, made in 2023.

The artist collaborated effectively with two oil paintings that make up the imagery of the director's universe. The story of Obscuro: Curtain of Fire is about an individual's internal struggle with depression and anxiety, or in the director's own words, "about the eternal cycles of life from the perspective of a young man who is heading for rock bottom once again."

The project also featured the special participation of several other artists, including the band Scalene - creators of the film's original soundtrack - as well as dubbing by Luiz Carlos Persy and Luiza Caspary - official voice actors for Joel and Ellie in The Last of Us games in Brazil - as the characters Shadow and Red.
